OUR MISSION

Our mission is to strengthen families and communities by empowering and equipping them with accessible educational opportunities that prepare students and families for academic success, leadership, and lifelong learning. Statement of Need Children and youth in our community face multiple barriers that affect their educational success. Many families lack access to quality academic enrichment, technology resources, and mentorship opportunities. Financial constraints also limit access to STEM education, structured after­school programs, and summer learning opportunities. Educational disparities continue to impact student achievement in areas such as reading, mathematics, and science. Without access to enrichment programs, many students experience learning loss during the summer months and fall behind academically. Harvest Community Development Center works to close these opportunity gaps by providing structured academic programming, technology education, mentorship, and leadership development. However, a lack of financial resources limits our ability to expand programs, purchase technology equipment, and serve more students and families in need.
